Clothes That Work
Raquel was referred to Clothes That Work from a local training program.  Wearing her jeans, a button up shirt and sneakers, Raquel had been searching for a job for nine months.

A young, single mom, Raquel was caught in a catch 22.  She wanted to enter the workforce; however, after providing for her child’s needs she had nothing left for an interview outfit.

At Clothes That Work, Raquel selected an interview outfit and received one-on-one coaching on making a positive first impression.  In her new suit, Raquel quickly secured a job at a financial institution and returned to Clothes That Work to build a work wardrobe based on her new dress code.

Clothes That Work is a United Way Partner Agency helping people achieve financial stability leading to independence.  Clothes That Work is receiving $19,657 through the United Way Campaign this year.
