United Way's Day of Action

Check out the photos!United Way's Day of Action (formerly Community Care Day)  takes place on the first Friday in June. This event is an annual day of volunteerism mobilizing hundreds of local volunteers to complete community service projects throughout Montgomery, Greene and Preble Counties. 

Our volunteers are individuals and groups from local companies, organizations and the community.  All ages, including youth and adults, are welcome to participate as volunteers in this event.  

This year, nearly 500 people participated in United Way's Day of Action on Friday, June 4th.  Please click here to see picture's from the day's events! 

2009 Facts
Over 700 volunteers completed 70 projects throughout the three county area.  Volunteers contributed 3,300 hours of service which was able to expand agency services by $67,000!  Click here to check out pictures from our 2009 event.  

2008 Facts
Nearly 750 volunteers completed 61 projects throughout the Miami Valley. Volunteers contributed more than 3,400 hours of service at a value of over $65,000.  Click here to check out the pictures and participants from our 2008 event!
